The requirement for network penetration testing has been prevalent among the security requirements being requested of our clients.  A penetration test is basically an authorized attempt to “break into” your network to evaluate security.   Once this test is completed, you are provided a report that shows where your vulnerabilities are and how critical they are.  This is not to be confused with intrusion protection reporting.
